Builds lost to time

When doing a bit of cleansing on the hard drive I stumbled across some very old screenshot from when I started playing Valheim. The friends that introduced me to the game started a new world once we get the grasp of the mechanics and, while they were excited into exploring and progressing, I started to get a liking to building (being stalked by two deathsquitoes as soon as I put a foot in the plains helped in that decision 🙄). So, I kept building until a conventional player base started to look more like a town; the very first one that I built and where I started to develop lots of ideas and techniques I've been using since then.

Unfortunately, most of my friends stopped playing Valheim, including the server owner. He keep it online for me (even didn't want me to pay for it). But but when I was out for some weeks due reasons, a mistake happened with the payments and the provider deleted the server without backup. 😣 The only thing that remains is that bunch of screenshots and the shared memories 😭

The town started in an open meadows plain that was by a steep cliff to the sea with a creek on it; perfect to dig out a harbor in a fjord style. Our houses and more "practical" building were in the upper zone and the lower zone around the harbor is the one I worked on. The screenshots are all from the lower part, are the images I keep sending the others about what I was building to see if I bait them to come back to the game 😅

It has been a loooong travel since then
