An impenetrable vault. The perfect place for loot goblins and hoarders to securely stash their valuables and junk.

This build features one hundred chests (ninety-six iron and four personal). The inspiration behind this build is a modern neoclassical style bank and a dash of Stormwind interior design.

No mods were used in the creation of this build.

Oooh nice one. I build also a bank recently in my city, I see we both used that door for the vault, it's so fitting for that purpose that I thought of building a bank since first day I saw that piece. Your bank is bigger and gives a more neoclassic look. I like the general vibes and details like the iron cage around the windows where the workers attend.

If I've to say a few "buts", just minor things more akin to my taste:
- That front facade deserves the bank name in letters in that grausten strip just under the shield
- I would alternate windows and no-windows in successive columns in the lateral and back facades to reduce the repetition of the same look.
- Also, I'll add some trim of wood (probably horizontal) somewhere to add a hint of color to spice up the looks.

You are completely right about the front facade. I really struggled with how to decorate that space. I tried different materials and tried mounting different objects (even layering) and could not find something I felt worked. I ended up just placing a shield there to elude to a clock and just to have something in that space.

If you made the letters grayish, they can look like they are carved in the graustone; something very on the line of the neoclassic look you wanted. The signs themselves can be hidden behind the stairs that lead to the entrance. If I'm not wrong with the perspective, both are in the same vertical plane. You only need to put as many signs as letters (one individual one in each sign) and fiddle with the "pos" and "voffset" parameters to put them in place.

Oh wow, I had to look up what you were talking about. I had no idea there was so many coding tricks for the signs built into the game. Thank you, I will have to mess around with this.

Oh yes, you can do lots of funny things with signs; you have to understand that you can write text "floating" outside the sign build piece itself. It's not only playing with text, the game font supports many of the UNICODE emojis; your imagination is almost the limit. If you go to the "Articles" section, there are several guides on how to play with signs in Valheim. Lots of tutorials in Youtube too.

One important detail that some guides omit is that the text on a sign cannot be wider than the sign piece itself unless the text is a single character. So, when one wants to create big letters or symbols combined, every one must have it's own sign build piece and then you have to move the location of each letter/symbol to align them.

As an example to start playing with: place a sign down on the stairs (no need to hide it now, just over the stairs, to test) and write on the sign this: <#777777><size=30><pos=20><voffset=400>B

A big "B" (for bank) of middle gray color should appear floating way over the sign (voffset positive is moving up) and a bit to the right ("pos" positive is moving to the right). If you play with the size, pos and voffset values you can place it where you want. Then add more letters in other signs to compose the whole text.

Beware! Once you start playing with sings, it became addictive very fast 😉
