Garvord – the warden
My username/tag is an adaptation of a name of the supernatural being
Gardvord. He is, according to
Nordic folklore the guardian or warden of the farm, watching over the it.
Gardvord is place bound and lives in the presence of the habitants, but is a
Vette – a kind of a spirit. According to tradition, it was necessary to provide sacrifices in order to maintain a good relationship with him. Then he gave prosperity and well-being to everything and everyone in return.
