The Duo's Townhomes (Fluffy & Dana)

When we began the Ski Lodge build, we knew we wanted to do it on Al's mountain. Before he stopped playing he had built his log cabin at the top, one of those SUPER tall mountains well above the atmosphere line. Below was a high altitude valley that seemed perfect for a village below a lodge, all of it well below Al;s hermit cabin at the top.

So we started mapping out the village and the very first two structures I built in that village was this duplex/townhouse for Fluffy and I. Again, like seemingly everything else we ever built, it was heavily built into the steep sides of terrain in the valley. Pulling it out as a blueprint gave us the ability to refresh it so it could be placed on flat ground and enjoyed by others. These townhouses really set the tone for the ambiance and style that ultimately became that town. I remember it was during the construction of these that the issue of build materials was addressed, first with a single track 45 degree stairway straight down, but later morphed into a winding stairway and road complete with towers along the way for shelter. It would take almost 14 minutes to climb encumbered, bunny hopping up those stairs.
