Based on the clan lore of the yellow clan on the Eldriheim RP server, once the royal family lived in Kyrr before the entire family was killed by their own people due to a conflict of beliefs.
Astrid is now back in Kyrr and has not lost faith that a family member might have escaped and survived.
Therefore, she is rebuilding the royal palace in preparation for the return of the heir to the throne.
