Sorry for the late reply. Probably because I made it to be quite tall so it could be installed in the deep water. If I recall my memory well, Iron beams are going all the way through corewood beams from the bottom to the top. I know. Doesn't make sense. But this dock was built very long time ago when I didn't really understand the building mechanics.
