We're hosting the Build Relay Event during Val-Con this weekend, Feb 1st - 2nd, on the regional vanilla servers.
The Build Relay Event spans a total of two hours and features a unique relay-style format that keeps players on their toes. Here’s how it works:
Two Build Plots
The event arena consists of two designated build plots. Each plot can host only one builder at a time.
Relay System
Players will take turns entering the build plots. Only one player per team is allowed on each plot at any given time, ensuring fair play and strategic planning.
Tag Team Efforts
Teams can queue up their members to tag in when appropriate. This means that as soon as one builder finishes their turn and exits the plot, another teammate can seamlessly step in to continue the work.
Unity in Creation
Builders have the option to connect structures over the middle of the two plots, encouraging innovative designs and cooperative efforts between teammates.
The Challenge
This isn’t just about building—it’s about strategy! With limited time on the clock and only one builder per plot at any moment, teams must carefully plan their approach. Will you focus on intricate details or go for bold, large-scale designs? How will you coordinate with your teammates to ensure continuity and cohesion in your builds? The possibilities are endless!
Regional Rivalry
At the end of Val-Con, all builds will be judged to determine which region—NA, EU, or Oceania—takes home the victory. This adds an extra layer of intensity as players not only represent their teams but also their entire region. The stakes are high, and bragging rights are on the line!
Minimum players per team is 2.

February 1st - 2nd
Europe Prime Time (7–9 PM CET) = 18:00–20:00 UTC (Feb 1st)
North America EAST Prime Time (7–9 PM EST) = 00:00–02:00 UTC (Feb 2nd)
Oceania Prime Time (7–9 PM AEST) = 08:00–10:00 UTC (Feb 2nd)
