Well met!
The name's Zippi, a guy from Finland whose dream is to study forestry in a university in the near future. I have always been playing a lot of games, and my favourites have always been fps games, rhythm games and survival/rpg games.
When I heard of Valheim the first time, I believe they were just about to end the closed beta testing and start preparing for the launch (I didn't get to play the beta but managed to sign in early enough to get the cape, hood and the horn of Odin). I told about Valheim to my friend who is REALLY into the norse mythology and when the game released, we played it for almost 8 hours everyday for the first week (yes we had that much free time :D). After less than 2 weeks we managed to beat all the bosses and had the best possible gear in the game. We began the search for an optimal place to start to build a big castle, which we wanted to do to have a permanent base as a center of operations for our journeys around Valheim. Once we found a place that suited our needs, we did some quick scheming and just began to place down some walls to see how they would look. After that we just continued to expand the build without any thorough planning and most of it was just improvised and changed on the fly if we didn't like something.
