Hello,

Note: I tried to search if someone else has posted this before here but I havn't found anything.

I want to Copy a world with all the buildings I made in it, in a proper and clean way.

I have read on Reddit that I can copy these 2 files :
  1. monde1.db
  2. monde1.fwl
In :

  C:\Users\<MyUser>\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim\worlds_local (I'm on Windows)

I did it and I started my game to see if I found my copy. I see this in the worlds menu of the game:
  1. mondename1
  2. mondename2(mondename1)
So, there is a copy created which name is "mondename2(mondename1)".

This is a first problem, because I would like that my new world would simply be named : "mondename2(mondename1)".

Second problem: When I select "mondename2" and that I move in it with my character, I go from a location A towards a location B.

Seems logical.

But when I come back in "mondename1", I observe that my character that I was in location A has also moved to location B like in the second world.

So, I think there is still a dynamic link between the 2 worlds, which is not good.

I tried to rename my second world from "mondename2(mondename1)" to "mondename2" with this website:geekstrom.de/valheim/fwl/

But when I do that, and I relaunch the game, I see "The world save is corrupt, there is missing a back file".

So impossible to C/C the worlds with my buildings properly.

Can someone please help me ?
