What a journey!

Who would have thought 5 years ago when I spent 20 dollars on this game that it would lead me to new friends across the globe, help me cope with loss of work during a pandemic and the death of my mother, provide [to date] 8700 hours of enjoyment and turn into the best digital form of legos ever. The community in Nick Rawcliffe's channel and Nick himself opened a door, and on the other side has been nothing but wonderful life additions. To all in this Valheim community, you have my respect and admiration. I have spent about 84 out of the 8700 hours playing with my partner in crime, Fluffy. To him and to Nele, Nele who by the way played Valheim sailing music at her wedding, thank you for your friendship and comradery all these years. May the adventures continue, and the distractions extend them!
