Hehehehe but now, with EWP.... it doesn't matter what they do, we can do whatever we choose on our servers.
I understand how they feel. But also... perhaps it is pride. There is nothing wrong with having multiple ways of doing something, it does not "ruin the spirit" of the game. If it is done correctly, then the game & community thrive :)
Soo, I dont think that fern is actually there. Its an illusion fern. Those are actually part of the terrain. Like the grass or dirt. I could be wrong though.
There are shrubs and stuff that you can spawn, but they are bigger. The one you are looking at is, it is impossible to cut right?
What a great description :) I agree. Valheim isn't just a visually beautiful game; its a beautiful experience. Valheim reminds me that good games are out there; just waiting to be found
It only works on a dedicated server because on an xbox users world the mod doesn't exist and there's no way (currently) of them installing the mod. The only option is to setup a dedicated server using a PC and then connect to it using xbox. They will only see stuff after the building has been placed
I use planbuild to run a public valheim server and most of the players are xbox players. Here is what I've learned.
You only need the mod to add the buildings to the server. After you place the buildings, other people can play on the server without the mod.
The xbox players can only join if you have the "enable crossplay" setting checked
If you try to show them something that is a mod file, like the planbuild rune, or some building plans etc, they will see nothing. The mod-specific objects will be invisible to them.
Welcome! I love the idea of having a world with all your buildings on. PlanBuild is awesome, its one of my favorite mods for sure. Especially because everything you do with it is vanilla friendly; I.E. anybody can play on a world you built with planbuild
No, you dont need to create any youtube video :) There is a mod called PlanBuild. You can use it to create a blueprint file, which you can then upload to valheimians. I have a guide here on Valheimians showing how to use PlanBuild if you want some help understanding it
