Crazy Jaari's treehouse in the swamp.
Mods used: Inifinity Hammer, GetOffMyLawn and Gizmo. I ended up not using the other mods that offer worn and broken looks because Inifinity Hammer has options for that.
This is actually the third iteration, in the past couple of days. I had a set of rules I followed, among which was to only use materials from up to the swamp, warped flooring, crooked walls, and shoddy roofing, it had to look like the builder -- Crazy Jaari -- had no real sense of proper building techniques and was just patching things together, and his answer to something coming down, or being precarious, was more wood, bracings and nails...
Also, nothing could go down to the ground except trees and fallen trunks. The only thing that does, is the first ladders that go up the trunk to the door.
The first one had a straight floor, though I added some bumps here and there and planks were going every-which way. I was working out how to do the build. Roofing was a nightmare... Nothing connected properly, but that was the point. It looked ok, but I hadn't thought of the worn look yet. It was also too big and empty. And uninteresting.
The second was decent, but once built I used some mods to add wear on the pieces. I made some mistakes with configurating the mods, changed something I shouldn't have and everything look broken, instead of worn, and I couldn't figure out how to repair some pieces. They stayed with a broken look... Then I removed some mods and everything was crumbling down, so I just scrapped it and started over. Wasn't the first time.
This third one, I did pretty much all I wanted. I found the setting in Inifinity Hammer's config where you can select the look of pieces you put in place: worn or broken. And it's just a look, GOML still works as usual. Most of the floors are crooked, sagging, bumpy. Individual rooms are slanted and the roof doesn't look too weird with a bunch of edges sticking out... Was still a pain to do, though. The height of the walls varies, some are bowed or arced. No 'lining up things', really. I was limited in what I could decorate with... But everything worked out in the end. I think.
I'm gonna take a break from building. Play something else for a while.

It’s interesting building and server owners often come here to download such builds to set as POI on their servers. At least that’s what i did when i run servers.
