Fishtrap Bistro (So very long ago)

The story goes, Nick was doing a server stream in Nov 2021

Halfway through, I was the only one left on the stream with him and chat asked Nick to try to make a fish trap using doors. We search for a spot, he built it and a suggestion was made to create a village in that spot incorporating the tiny fishtrap he had built there. So we did. This became the first structure and it has the actual fishtrap he built. What ultimately became Fishtrap Village on the server was born from this stream. So many contributed to the village over the next month. Hello out there to Nele, Al and Badger and I refuse to say hi to Fluffy.... because I see him all the time and he went on holiday for a month again. I hope it rains...



Terrain markers added, this is a sail up tavern and restaurant. All that was done was fix it up so it could be placed easier in a new world and some light roofing work was done, seeing as this was only a month after Hearth and Home and we were NOT very polished builders at the time.

But the fun had making this and then the village are memories never to be forgotten. We are thrilled to be able to save our builds like this and have them all on one world file. After 9000 hours in-game for each of us, we get to reminisce about old builds and find ones we had all but forgotten.

All vanilla, no mods needed. It is very basic but for us it is but another mile marker on time spent playing together in a game the built a real friendship out in the real world.

The Valheim community, Nick and his community and the many more we have encountered on Discord is special.
