Am I missing something on the submissions page? Are these just for sharing photos, or should we be able to download build files of these?

It's optional for members to save and upload downloadable build files. You can browse all Valheim builds with downloads by selecting the filter.
I did for my Reddit Alien and I think it will become more popular as more people become aware that you can even save and share them.
