This was a major castle build for me, after initially experimenting with the various new black marble pieces in my earlier canal ring fortress & fortified bridge (see my previous videos).
The black color fitted perfectly with my idea of a dark build next to the Black Forest.
And the angled pieces lended to a more tapered & chiselled look.

So not too far from my capital area's Hamlet, is a Black Forest area.
And I figure this nearby Black Forest biome could be some kind of Royal hunting lands.
Thus, the idea was for a Hunting lodge or a Jagdschloss castle.
Later, I would build a mini supporting settlement around it (see my previous video).

Now, this castle being the foci for Royal hunts.
It would act as the starting point for hunting trips.
With some hunting hounds (tamed wolfs in-game) housed inside.
As well as a great big banquet hall & supporting kitchen.
I also wanted a central tower for the monarch's bedchambers.
It should be private, luxurious with great views of the surrounding area.

As usual, I'll leave the visuals to tell the story. Enjoy.

I'm working on sprucing up some upcoming showcases. I don't play with mods, so I figure I'll have a look at the recommended Buildshare mod at a later point.

The easiest mod to use is the PlanBuild mod on Thunderstore. However, it's totally fine to also just share the world file. That would be plenty to find the build.
