So continuing onwards to the next series on Traders (and the buildings I built around them).
There are currently 3 Traders in the game as of the time of this posting (Haldor, Hildir & the Bog Witch).
I've always wanted to try fun builds that aren't too serious & major/complex in scale.
For experimentation & just plain build-on-the-fly-anything-that-comes-to-mind amusement.
And also ... well ... because poor vulnerable Traders in the middle of nowhere, deserve fortified protection too ...
At least that's my excuse to build something interesting around their habitats.
So we'll start off with Mr Haldor, the original trader.
The inspiration for this build is the Ostrog, a type of small Russian fort built from sharpened palisade trunks.
I wanted to keep an entry build feel to this, so the wooden palisade design of the Ostrog is prefect for this.
Plus, it has a distinctive Eastern European look to it.
Gives the sense that these NPCs are indeed from far far away.
