This is the second land fort I built. In the Black Forest biome.
Originally it was a minor logging outpost of mine.
I had established it much earlier when I was playing through the Black Forest.
My aim back then was to use it as base to log Black Forest pine trees & core wood etc, for my main base.
It became apparent that it was easier, faster & safer to transfer the wood & materials back to my base (not far away) via ship. Hence it had a dock.

Anyways, since I switched to using debug mode later for unlimited construction materials.
It kind of lost it's original purpose for timber logging in the Black Forest.
So as time went by & new biome updates launched, with access to new build materials.
I demolished the older, rather messy logging outpost & rebuilt it into a fort proper.
And it being situated in the deep dark Black Forest, I wanted to build a proper Lighthouse tower that was integrated into the overall design & ship dock.

The layout is roughly divided into an inner & outer fort design.
The Inner fort was a legacy of my older logging camp, and hence can be seen as being rebuilt over its original footprint.
The Outer fort was an expansion to accommodate more smelting structures & open areas etc.

The Black Forest area outside this fort is now designated as my 'Royal Hunting Lands'

I've built a Hunting Lodge castle not too far from this fort, which I will post at a later time after sprucing it up a little.
