Settlements: Falconers' Mews

This will be the first showcase of my Plains builds.
Across the river gorge is where I sited a major city in the Plains.
Connected across by a moon bridge inspired design.
As well as a Summer Palace build, which I will enhance & showcase at some point in the future.
This was my first major foray into building in the Plains biome.
And boy were the Loxes annoyingly destructive on my early builds...

What I envisioned this build as, is a starting base for falconry hunts in the Plains.
Similar to my Black Forest Hunters' Commune, as complimentary settlement to the nearby Summer Palace.
But on a smaller scale, catering to Hunting expeditions in the Plains.
As well as a residence for the Fowler officer of the Crown.
And his falconers party, housed in a small Dacha.
There isn't any tamable birds in-game now, so the Raven adornment will have to stand-in for now.

The only thing I will highlight is the 'Dragon's teeth' barriers around the perimeter.
This anti-Lox measure was something I experimented with.
Both to keep Loxes away from my main walls, and to force their spawning further out.
It was inspired by the actual Dragon's teeth anti-tank fortifications used in warfare.
My earlier defense were Ballista turrets. Not quite effective at all.
They simply shot at Loxes, and caused a mini herd to come rampaging towards my city walls.
Yes, trenches would be a much more foolproof method, but it's just to much work for me...
Especially if you have an entire city to dig trenches along the perimeter ... lol.
