So this is going to be another of my settlement builds.
Where I basically built another small habitation place.
With a bunch of small buildings bunched together, organised along a theme.
In this case, this will be a mini Hunters' Commune straddling the border between the Meadows & Black Forest biomes.
Well, it's kinda strange as I build the Hunting lodge castle first.
And the castle itself is the main foci for this Hunters' settlement that was later built around it.
So my idea was a Hunting lodge or a Jagdschloss.
It's not too far from my capital area's Hamlet.
And I figure this nearby Black Forest biome could be some kind of Royal hunting lands.
Anyways, I shan't elaborate too much on the Hunting lodge itself.
Back to the subject. I figure a Royal hunting lodge must have supporting staff, facilities & etc around it.
So this Hunters' Commune is basically a mini village that grew around the Hunting lodge.
Making use of the some of the existing game-generated structures nearby, I refurbished & added buildings until...
Well, here's a list of the buildings:
Houses for the hunting party, trappers, castle kitchen cooks, forest rangers, artisans & even a forest witch's cave!
Various crafting facilities & workshops, a meat smokery, and even a troll cave repurposed as a root cellar.
Anyways, I'll let the video & screenshots do the talking.
So far this is the fifth settlement project I have built in Valheim & I really like doing these mini urban builds.
Great fun for me!
