Vetrarmót



- The second expedition north established a holding on a small isle due north of Lorddagen. Calling it Vetrarmót, it is the foothold on the frontier of the Norlandamæri. Surrounded by the remnants of an abandoned village, the small fortified walls give a safe haven, for now, from the harsh weather and threats of the snow. Rebuilding some of the decrepitted houses and halls, the structures bring some life back to the bleak environment. The expedition has slowly gathered enough resources to construct walls, smithy, storage and is in the process to build a gathering hall for weary travelers.


The small Isle has been called Tyre and has several abandoned villages on it. The frozen river allows for easy access to the larger lands to the east and has the potential to be thawed to improve the defenses of the area. Outside the walls the land is not for the weak, as there are few so-called safe havens once you cross the River Tyre. Out within the snow, the Krigen stalk the Timberwoods and the dreaded Grimmletrolls stand as sentries within trees. Vetrarmót is considered safe for the time but much needs to be done in order to secure this claim in Norlandamæri.
