Torstein Shipyards (docks)

Torstein Docks has been in place and is one of the oldest established buildings in the Second Age and at the dawn of the server itself. It was once called Thorongil Docks, as it was at the base of the hill that the once proud captial stood. Upon Thorongils destruction and the fleeing of the Jarl, the area was left abandoned and unkept. In time it was renamed "Torstein" after the respected shipmaster of the area prior to their death during the Wrath of the Forsaken. Torstein was reclaimed by a newer arrival in early spring and they took up the mantle of restoring and even expanding on the operations in the smaller dock area.

Torstein is on the main road and is in walking distance of Bywater and Guildhall. Housing the only known crossing between Midthold and Ostlighold, the bridge is a pillar that connects both holds togther as one. Torstein Docks is a small docking area and is able to house 5-6 boats at a time and is the most central dockyard in all the Realm. Only rivaled by Aegir Point to the north and Odegaardr Harbor to the south.


Torstein has been claimed by Samkat. All buildings were originally built by Wissman and then modified and/or expanded by Samkat.
