Ever get tired of staring at boring walls all day in real life? Its ridiculous! How about staring at boring walls all day in valheim? Even more ridiculous!
Valheim is a beautiful game and seeing through the walls makes a simple base feel fantastic. Lots of players don't realize that it is possible to create walls that provide shelter and rest without sacrificing visibility. If you are interested, read on!
Building a short wall alone does not provide any shelter in most cases. However, by trimming everything with wood beams you can create shelter despite being able to see everything.
The magic is usually in these simple 2m wooden beams.
If your short walls with 2 meter beams are not providing shelter; then there are two more recommendations you can try. First, use the angled wood beams in the corners to create a cool window-like situation which might help. Second, make the floor deeper into the ground. Usually going 1m or a bit deeper into the ground fixes all the shelter gaps.
