Flåm Portable Scandanavian Travel Hut

Set down this travel micro-cabin when night starts closing in on your adventure. Get a full night’s rest, warm up by the fire, and be ready to hit the road again at first light.

Inspired by traditional small Norwegian buildings near Flåm, Norway, this tiny hut combines cozy style with practical function. It includes a bed, workbench, comfort items, an integrated campfire, snacks in the barrel, and a chest with basic tools plus a lox cape for frosty mornings. Designed for long days of far-flung exploration, its high comfort and barrel of late-game stamina foods also make it a great temporary worker’s cabin while you are starting a new base or build.

Built with high ground clearance and extra-long support poles, it can be placed almost anywhere without terrain modification. On uneven ground, place a temporary 1m or 2m pole on the ground first to set the height of the cabin floor above ground. The legs extend well below the placement center and sink into the terrain beneath, after which the temporary pole can be removed.
