Feel Tranquillity within this Castle, whether you're training, eating or resting.

No matter how long or how difficult this shall become, the castle most be formed in order to protect those who cannot fight for themselves.

To those who prey on the weak, the gods themselves shall prey upon you

This is most likely going to be a mega-build and in addition to this the build may also become available for download when complete, however it may be unstable in terms of how much you can render and handle as well as finding the right position to the point it wont collapse, as if it's not deep enough in the ground, it shall fall.

Challenging but beautiful choice to build over water! Did you use the roof tactic to get feet on ground to start building?

Must be fun to watch storms from upper floor.

Nope, as most of the castle is suppose to be in "shallow" water, you can still technically build while walking, in addition I never knew of a roof tactic, I always go with what's easy for me to build :3

In addition each part of the castle is built on raised ground, as looking at a few that were built in shallows I noticed it would go, dirt then cobble, however, seeing Valheim only has one variant of stone, it all looks the same.

Yep, that's the technical detail that lead to the slanted roof tactic. How it works is: Placing a roof that slants from the surface down into the water allows your character to swim and then slide down the angle of the roof to touch the ground with your feet. From there, you can build AND your stamina doesn't drain.

I didn't bookmark where I learned that but it's an interesting tip that opens up more building options if you like building on or even under water.

Ah, I just debug when doing these builds and dart underwater, the camera location is annoying but it still allows me to build underwater, in addition seeing the game does not allow unlimited stamina I just use an alternative software to get unlimited stamina, as it does become a pain.



In addition I may not do many water or under water builds as they're tedious and many Japanese builds are in lakes/ponds, or like the farms, have raised streams, however Valheim has it's water set to a certain level so you cant really create things like this, I do hope some day they allow for actual water physics, that would allow for a variety of designs I could use, if not I'll just continue sticking with basic Japanese builds.
