Thorongil (Abandoned)
-Thorongil, central city in Midthold. Rebuilt from its fallen state, remnants of the old watchtower and dock still remain. The hilltop hall and fortress stands firm above the village below. The Dvergr once held a port at the mouth of the river, and their structures lay now in disrepair. The village is home to an Inn, Storehouse, Tavern, and some available homes for claim. The main fortress is home to the Jarl of Midthold and Lord of Thorongil. The city was once a fortress that guarded the passing of the river, and now houses the center of commerce for the Realm. The lower docks have been rebuilt, and the bridge connecting the hold of Ostlighold stands once again. Thorongil was sacked mid-spring by the exiled ones, and was razed to the ground, but it has been rebuilt by the combined efforts of those that reside in the Realm. It acted as the capital for the Realm for a time.
Following the The Wrath of the Forsaken, Jarl of Thorongil fled south leaving the smoldering ruins behind.
