Anfalas & Tolfalas

The Gateways of the Holds. Tolfalas acts as the southern portion, whilst Anfalas is the northern portion.

The gates act as bridges connecting the inner Holds by a walkable passage. Tolfalas is the gateway that connects the holds of Surdurhold and Maedhroshold., whilst its sister bridge in the north connects Vesturhold to Fjardhold. A large sea gate was constructed in the middle allowing for ships to pass safely under it, with a tower on each end acting as sentries to those sailing by. In Toldfalas, the western tower is named Beregond Tower, while its mirrored tower is called Balgruuf Tower. For those sailing south it is a reminder that any lands/seas south of here offers little protection from the threats that call this area home. Those that head north, it is a welcoming sight for safety and restoration.

-Tolfalas has a considerably smaller port, with room for 2-3 ships at most. Constructed from an old ruined watchtower near the Pass of Gjermund and Grünauer Grove, Tolfalas is known as the wall upon the sea. There is a watchtower and defensive sea wall connecting Maedhroshold to the Gateway. The area is considerably rundown due to being battered by the sea waves and the residual fog coming from the Swamp of Woe. Tolfalas acts as the main port hub for Grünauer Grove, as it is the fortress that guards the entrance to the Hold. Beregond Tower has been shaped and marked with runes marking the border to Maedhroshold/Surdurhold. The eastern part of Tolfalas connects directly to Surdurhold and is currently under construction. Balgruuf Tower is in ruin whilst most of the base structure is rebuildable but has seen better days. The bridge has been completed and it connects fully allowing any to travel by foot.

-Anfalas is the bridge/gate in the northern parts of the Inner Holds and connects Fjardhold and Vesturhold. Also in a somewhat ruined state, Anfalas is intack enough for travel across the water. Shorter in length, it has 3 towers that bridge the gap and leads to the city of Stendarr in the west and eventually Iverstead in the east. Anfalas is in need of much repair as the ocean has not been kind to this passing as the waves have battered the lower levels of the towers and even the bridge itself. The Jarls of the respecting Holds will have their work in order to bring the bridge/gate backs to its former glory.


*The Gateway was constructed utilizing devcommands to spawn in a dvergr tower, which automatically raised the ground to above sea-level. No Mods were used.*
