Odegaardr Harbor
-The western port of Maedhroshold. Built on the shores below the Nargathrond Hills. The Harbor offers the safe haven to larger ships and the valued treasures of the west lands. The harbor accommodated a large tavern, fortress garrison, storage houses and a lord’s tower. The Harbor is constructed from a series of small inlets and raised up by stone passage ways. The exterior wall offers protection from the threat of the neighboring plains, as well as a road that leads to the Straunvaig Garrison. The northside of the harbor houses the tavern, general storage, and the Hornburg garrison. The south end of the harbor holds a secondary storage building, portal hub, and the Lord’s tower. This is also the home to one of the tallest structures in the Realm, the famed Lighthouse of Pelannor. It was rebuilt from its ruined state during the reconstruction of Maedhroshold, and now is shining beacon to the safe haven that is Odegaardr Harbor.
Included in this harbor are three sections designated by the purpose and design: Port, Residence, Fort. The Port section houses the famed Lighthouse of Pelannor and the Imrahil Tavern. The port is the main hub of activity of travelers and those seeking respite. The Residence section holds several homes and workshops that are still currently being remodeled and is the location of Lord Pelargir’s Holdout, the lords tower. The Fort section is the original foundations Odegaardr and is home to the Hornburg Garrison.
*All structures and builds were designed by Wissman. Influenced by the Gondorian style of buildings from Tolkien's world.
