How much style and functionality can I fit into a 3x4 floor space?
There will be one house for each stage of the game
The rules:
No digging
Ground floor must be 3x4 standard floor tiles (6x8 meters)
Fireplaces are allowed to extend into an external alcove
1 extra floor is allowed, which may jetty out to a 4x5 floor space
Materials are restricted to the game stage (i.e. no metals or fine wood before Eikthyr, no iron before Elder, etc.)
I put no restrictions on the garden plants

- is flattening the ground allowed?
- I see stone paths, but one would need iron for the stonecutter, is this allowed?
- Is finewood allowed (pre Eikthyr), since I can get it without the axe/ without a troll in the meadows?
- are item stands allowed (pre Eikthyr)?
The rules only apply to the houses themselves. For the village/gardens, anything goes. I even use a planting mod to get bushes and trees that don't belong in the meadows.
Are you gonna upgrade them on the go or just start over for each era? Did miss that part the first time I read.
