THE LEGEND OF THE SEEKER KING
There was once a Seeker King. The offspring of a seeker queen and a Jotun. His every step caused tremors. His dreaded form towered over mountains. And his mandibles could split the gods in half. In fact he did that, during the long war of the gods against the seekers. The Dwarves called him Berr’hemoth, the walking nightmare.
As fate would have it. The nightmare would meet its match! After suffering countless defeats, the remaining gods turned to the help of one race – the Humans!
After hearing the plight and promises of the gods, the humans accepted. Few could have predicted what they would do, and even fewer would repeat it.
The humans knew that the titan’s carapace was too strong for any material to penetrate, but the Behemoth’s insides was a different matter. For weeks humanity’s most prominent alchemists were working on the world’s most lethal concoction. Mixing Bilebags with Torn spirits and Eitr, then enhancing the mixture with dark magic, they had created the world’s most powerful poison. A poison strong enough… to kill a titan.
They used their own Loxes as bait, and when the beast opened its maw, they launched the vile concoction with their ballistae and catapults. It didn’t take long, for the poison to take effect. With men and gods as witnesses, the walking nightmare bellowed in agony, desperate and in pain, the behemoth chased the now retreating humans, but the poison slowed him down! When the dust was settled, the mighty Seeker king could do nothing, but succumb to humanity’s worst creation.
To celebrate their victory, the humans called upon their brightest architects and builders, to build a fortress on top of the Seeker King’s corpse. After tireless work, that place was named “The Behemoth Fortress”.
This Fortress now serves as a reminder of humanity’s frightening potential.
THE THEME
The theme of my build is "Potential"! Just like the Fortress in the story was a reminder of humanity's potential, so is my build a reminder of the potential of Valheim's vanilla building system. So be inspired, dear viewer! And reach your potential as a Valheim builder!
