Walls and walls of sinks, dozens of toilets, and not a single full roll of toilet paper in sight... Welcome to the bathrooms, a backrooms inspired liminal space built as part of Captain Crumb's Outhouse Challenge.
I was inspired by the weird and wonderful public bathrooms of London train stations - interesting arched exteriors, soul-draining interiors.
This is fond (funny) farewell to early access and my 'prep' for deep north - after all you can't say you've packed all the necessities if you don't have a 'necessities'... (Yes this is a terrible British joke. 'Visit The Necessities' is a very polite and very old very regional way to say you're 'going to go to the toilet').
Built in creative using a metric ton of iron and grausten, utilising signs with block characters ▇ for a tiled wall effect as well as using item stands to create flower planters, barrel hoops for toilet seats, and build hammers for an obnoxious amount of empty toilet roll tubes...
Behold the glory, mind the strange glowy things and the walls closing in on you!
