Straunvaig Garrison
The fortress that stands vigilant upon the northern hills of Nargothrond, and guards the seas of Freya. Straunvaig was once a grand keep during the early days of the Realm, but it too was abandoned. The Fulings slowly crept back into the lands of Maedhroshold, and occupied the abandoned keep, transforming it into one of the numerous Fuling camps. The keep itself still held strong roots and the Jarl of Maedhroshold saw it worthy of reclamation, taking the old fortress back. It now has been rebuilt, and even houses a small village/garrison to its grounds. Within its walls is a garrison mess hall, barracks , forge, and storage. Straunvaig now is a prime example of the new golden age for the hold. Straunvaig even contains a beacon that can guide travelers on the sea, and is on the forefront of the dangerous Plains.
The fort itself is designed around an old stone fort ruin (vanilla), with all the new structures being built by Jarl Wissmann.
