Yngol Keep


Yngol Keep is the westernmost fortress that guards the Swamp of Woe. The Keep was constructed by Yngol the Defender back in the First Age and has now been rebuilt. The Keep's interior was designed with the spoils from the Ashland Raids, flametal beams riddle the foundations allowing for the keep to stand as an ominous sentry looking over the pass below. The Keep is square in formation with one main tower, and a secondary tower attached to the small halls. Within the walls, the Garrison has its own mess hall, bunk area, blacksmith, as well as ample storage. The Keep is the largest Fortress in Maedhroshold and is considered the start of the Hindrun Wall in the west. The Keep can house a small garrison of guards, and offers a view of the mountainous isle of Alessa to the north, one of the tallest peaks within the Realm.

All buildings were built and designed by Jarl Wissmann.

The 'Swamp of Woe'. Love that name! My Valheim buddy comes up with similar names. Fantastic build. Can see a lot of love right there.
